St Andrew's Church in Maidstone Road will be taking part in this event for the first time. Built in 1955, this modern church replaced the old one in Church Road, which was destroyed by enemy bombers in 1940. There will be displays of the history of the church in Paddock Wood and an opportunity to learn more of the origins of the parish, which only came into existence in the 1850s having previously been part of Brenchley. |
