Heritage Open Days celebrate England's architecture and culture by allowing visitors free access to interesting properties that are either not usually open, or would normally charge an entrance fee. The Civic Society manages Heritage Open Days across the Borough of Tunbridge Wells so find out more about our fascinating and varied local heritage. Each year dozens of free events take place during September. There are building openings, guided walks, tours and talks. Often there's also art, craft and music, and displays of traditional skills.

Tunbridge Wells Heritage Open Days 2020 is from Friday 11th September to Sunday 20th September 2020 inclusive

This year is the 26th Anniversary of Heritage Open Days, and the theme for this year's event will be Hidden Nature.

Heritage Open Days 2020 is still a few months away but already behind the scenes, teams of volunteers are beavering away busy getting things ready and finalising the all important details of properties and events. We will have more information available for you in July so please drop by then.
